We are all so blessed to live in a free society. We can say what we want, wear what we want, go to the church we choose to attend, or not go at all. We study what we want, travel where we want, spend what we want, marry who we want...I could go on...you get the picture.
Here's some food for thought though. Do you make as much money as you want? Do you take your vacation when you want? Do you live where you want? Do you have everything you want?
I would be willing to bet much of your "freedom" is dictated by a J-O-B. You probably have an employer who decides how much money you make, when you receive it, what hours of the day you have to work, when you take your vacation, and how long it will last. You probably have to ask for time off, and you may not always get the days you want. You likely live in an area that's handy to your J-O-B so it's convenient. You probably send you kids to schools you can "afford", you likely wake up to an alarm clock every day and I would venture a guess you drive a car, live in a house and take part in social activities all based on what your employer deems appropriate to pay you.
Is that TRUE freedom?
Don't get me wrong. There are lots of fantastic J-O-Bs out there that probably afford lots of people great livings. How many years of schooling did that take? How high are the student loan payments? When will the guy in the corner office retire or die so you can have HIS J-O-B?
Here's my point...
I had the incredible pleasure of attending a training event this weekend with world-renowned network marketing trainer Paula Pritchard. She talks about true freedom to anyone who will listen. She also talks about it in her wonderful book called "Owning Yourself". If you have ever considered network marketing even for a nano-second, I highly recommend this book.
Financial freedom means having the money to do what you want and the time to do it. Network marketing offers both! It takes work... make no mistake about that, but it's a simple duplicatable process that ANYONE can do. You don't need a degree, you don't need experience, you don't need a certain number of chromosomes or ribs! You just need the desire for a life that is better than the one you have.
And it's not just the money! How much to you love your co-workers? Come on...tell the truth. When was the last time you hugged a co-worker or just wanted to tell the world what a wonderful person someone in the office is? When was the last time someone higher up on the corporate ladder took you by the hand and said, "let's work together to help you make more money...heck, lets see if we can get you making more money than I do"?...People in network marketing do all of that stuff! No Kidding!!! When was the last time you wanted to be a fly on the wall when your boss fell and chipped a tooth??? Think about it!
So here is it...if you have the dedication, tenacity and commitment, network marketing could very well get you out of the rat race, and make you a serious income. For some people it happens virtually overnight, for some not so much. The absolute fact is...network marketing WORKS! I know...It's working for me, and I had cocktails with a couple of multi-millionaires on the weekend...I'm pretty sure it's working for them as well! If someone tells you network marketing doesn't work there are two possibilities: They have never tried it, or they signed up with a network marketing and sat with their feet up and expected the cheques to start rolling in. If someone tells you that's all there is to it...run! Run long and run fast! It takes work, but it's a simple process. No job application, no interview process. Just the desire for true freedom.
Freedom is raining on people in the network marketing industry. Heck, we're in a downpour, and we have the biggest rain barrels in the world!

Mel Gibson had it all wrong!
What do women really want? The age old question! Fame, love, a big bag of money?
You may recall Mel Gibson did a movie several years ago where he could read women's minds so he could give them exactly what they wanted! Pretty cool, but really unnecessary.
WOMEN WANT CHOCOLATE! :) If you can't give a woman all of those other things, chocolate will pretty much always do!
This link is from Alexander Green, the Investment Director of The Oxford Club. Alex is the author of numerous New York Times bestsellers. His newsletter, which is free, is called "Spiritual Wealth" and today's was very relevant to our business. In fact it could have been written for Xocai!

Want to know more about giving women (and let's face it, MEN too!) what they really want...HEALTHY CHOCOLATE! Drop me a line. You can email me at myhealthychocolate@hotmail.com and check out my website at www.andrealoveschocolate.com

Turns out money DOES grow on trees!
We just returned from Toronto where we celebrated the official Canadian launch of the Xe Healthy Energy Drink and the third anniversary of Xocai in Canada! It was fantastic, with top leadership of the company giving us two days of training and inspiration. Incredible! One of my favourite parts about this company is our leaders are truly down-to-earth. There were hugs and kisses all around as we shared everything from serious business conversations to cocktail recipes! Simply fabulous!
The company is taking a bit of a new approach for 2010. We're going back to basics. In the hectic day-to-day business of being in business, we sometimes forget where we come from. In our case we come from the wonderful cacao bean. A food known for it's unbelievably high antioxidants and health benefits from as far back as the ancient Aztecs. Look it up! Chocolate was one time used as currency! Who says money doesn't grow on trees!
We have recently been learning new information on our chocolate which shows even we didn't know what we had! Read on... http://www.mxicorp.com/thewholestory/
As always, if you want more information, you can contact me at myhealthychocolate@hotmail.com or check out my website at www.andrealoveschocolate.com Also, please have a look at my youtube video...all part of an amazing contest...the company is giving away everything from cases of energy drink to a 40 thousand dollar truck! :)

Bay of Fundy XeBreeze!
The new year is off to an incredible start with the launch of our Xe Healthy Energy Drink! We are having a tonne of fun! On New Year's Day, we took part in two very exciting events. One was the annual Polar Dip at Mispec Beach in Saint John. There is a youtube video to come...stay tuned for that! I will post the link on this blog so no one misses out! :)
We also had a Purple Haze party at Inn on the Cove, hosted by our wonderful business partners Ross and Willa Mavis. Purple Haze is a martini created in the U.S. to coincide with the launch of Xe. It's a great drink, but we wanted to create something that was uniquely Atlantic Canadian! So the goal of our party was not only to have fun and introduce people to our outstanding new drink, but also to create our own cocktail, the Bay of Fundy XeBreeze (pronounced "seabreeze"!)
Here's how to make yours!
In a shaker, combine with ice:
1.5 oz gin
1.5 oz raspberry Sour Puss
2 oz Xe Healthy Energy
2 oz fresh orange juice
a splash of club soda
You can shake it if you like, but be careful...it's carbonated!!! You're probably better off to "swish" it or stir it until it's ice cold, then strain into a cocktail glass, garnish with a fresh raspberry and enjoy!
This is a wonderful, fresh cocktail with lots of healthy energy to boot! It would also make a lovely punch, which is what we're planning to do for our next big event! Stay tuned!

Mirror, mirror...
Tonight was my last regular call with my personal coach, Lisa. The first phase of my coaching program was 12 weekly calls to get started and stay accountable to heading in the right direction. I have 9 months to go, but now it's up to me. 12 weeks ago, that prospect would have given me the vapours! Now I'm excited because I know I can do it!
At the first of my program I wrote in this blog that I couldn't wait to look in the mirror in 12 weeks to see if I recognized the person looking back. Oddly it took some thinking to decide if there were any real changes, but with a little thought and reflection, I'm not sure it's the same person at all. So what's changed?
I have determined my life purpose. Ever ponder that one? It's amazing what a behemoth that is. Think about it...the reason you were put on this earth. Heck, 12 weeks ago, I figured I was just dropped here randomly to share as much love as I could and maybe go to a nice place and sleep when it was all over. Now I know what my life's purpose is and I work toward it every day. It's incredible!
I have actually written down goals. Another monumental task! The assignment asked for 101...I think I got to 15! But I am amazed at how much closer I feel to these goals now that they are in writing and I can look at them and think of them and be more aware of them should any opportunities come knocking!
The biggest challenge for me was organization and time management. When I first started working on these modules, I never thought I would learn. Guess what! I did! I will never be super-organized or a time-management genius, but the shocking thing is that I am better at both and neither intimidates me now. And I find the less fear they invoke in me, the easier I find them both to conquer. I know now that if I get off course on organization or time-management, I just have to regroup and get back on track. I also recognize how much easier my life is and how much less forgetful I am now that I have a plan for my days and I am so much better at staying on track!
My biggest fear in starting this program was my PREVIOUS inability to stick to anything! One of the biggest attractions about this program was the unwillingness of Jack Canfield's people to let me quit. It's simply not an option! Normally by now I would have lost interest, run out of time or found some great rationalization or just a big CAN'T in the middle of the road and thrown my hands up and said, "fine, you win, I'm out". The fact that I have made it this far without even thinking about quitting is a huge accomplishment and one that is an enormous lesson it itself!
Conquering goals and changing my mindset along the way have been two of the most amazing accomplishments of my life. I have seen such a shift in my attitude in the past 12 weeks that it's astounding to me. And now that I have overcome some challenges and I have seen how using Jack's methods and philosophies can work for me, I am ready to tackle other challenges. So far I have been focusing on business challenges. In the new year I intend to hone those skills I have already learned and implemented and focus them in other directions. Next up is my health. I am committed to setting weight loss and fitness goals in the new year, only I have faith it will work this time because I have a new plan and a new outlook. How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. I am finally learning that it all doesn't have to happen at once. I don't need to rule the world in the next five minutes. Persistence is the key and I am learning to take baby steps to keep the pressure off myself and exercise that nasty stick-to-itiveness muscle!
So, the girl in the mirror. She looks very much the same, but there are differences. Her eyes are a little brighter, her smile a little more sincere. Some of the edges are smoother and she looks kinder and more loving. She looks like the kind of person I would very much like to hug. I may learn to love this girl someday after all.

So much going on!
Wow...there's just never a dull moment in the Healthy Chocolate business!
The pre-launch of the Xe healthy energy drink was a huge success with 60 thousand dollars in orders in the first day alone! Pre-ordering continues with delivery next month! I am so excited! We are currently working on locations for sampling. I haven't even tried it yet, but I have heard great reviews. For more information www.xe-energy.com
We launched Hong Kong this week too and we already have upwards of 25 distributors there! It's going to grow like wild fire! I can't wait until my first trip to Hong Kong to meet my team! If all goes according to plan I'll make a huge trip of it and have teams to visit in Europe during the same tour! :)
We had a great training event this week with special guest speaker Heather Campbell. She's a communications specialist who came in to talk to us about social networking, particularly twitter. It was a great session with lots of incredible information. You can follow Heather on twitter at campbellheather. Apparently she has the most common name in the universe and she had to go last-name-first to get a user name! She was a great help, especially to those who have never used social networking! Not to mention she's a sweetheart. I hope our paths cross again!
This weekend is a busy one. Here in Saint John there is a huge Christmas shopping event this weekend, and we'll be there with our healthy chocolate! These are my favourite events because I get to meet and talk to so many great people and share the story of Xocai. We'll be giving lots of information, samples and we'll be selling great gift packs at special event pricing! If you're in the neighbourhood, check it out!
Always so much going on! To start building your chocolate empire, or just to learn more about our products, check out my website at www.andrealoveschocolate.com

Students and young entrepreneurs take note!

I know this is a little hard to read, but it's the back label on a can of the new Xe energy drink. Each 250ml (8.4oz) can has 150 calories! All of the sugars are natural fruit sugars which are low glycemic! This is just a teaser...you can see the whole can and read more about all of the ingredients at www.xe-energy.com.
Not only can you be drinking the category first, high antioxidant (ORAC 6701) and high flavanoid (744mg) but you can make yourself a sweet bit of cash doing it! Xocai had developed a whole new compensation plan for first 12 weeks of the launch of Xe. It's very inexpensive to get involved and a great way to make money...and it's quick!
Think about it...how many people do you see in the run of a day drinking an energy drink? How many of those drinks are packed with caffeine and sugar for a quick rush of energy and a quick crash? Take a look at the link, read our ingredients, and consider how many of your friends would rather be drinking an energy drink that's good for them and doesn't have that horrible crash at the end! You could be on your way to making some quick cash or even to an entirely new career by contacting me the second you read this. Pre-ordering starts November 16th and the product is being shipped from the U.S. in early December. To learn more, contact me at myhealthychocolate@hotmail.com
